Too Cold for Me

Like I said, Jeremy was very serious about the gentleman's competition. I imagine that most of you are reading this going, "Lil' Bit has lost her mind, what in the world is that girl talking about...", so if that IS the case, read up at www.knoxvillecycling.com

water temp - low 40's, coldest ice bath, ever!

Goodbye Knoxiecross

The 2009 edition of Knoxiecross is officially over. 6 races over three weekends allowed Knoxville to show off its unpredictable weather patterns and show off it did. Weekend 1 was cold and rainy, weekend 2 was unseasonably hot, and not to be outdone, weekend 3 saw 60 degree temps on Saturday and then 35 degree temps and snow on Sunday.

This past weekend's races were held at World's Fair Park. Urban cross around the Sunsphere?? Count me in!!!

A fancy shot of Dave running up the stairs of death.

Dave and I got to bring home some big shiny balls for our efforts. Dave was second overall in the series in CX3 and I took home the top prize in the women's category.

Jeremy took the gentleman's competition very seriously and took advantage of every opportunity to gain points on his competitors. Shown here in a wig and women's underwear.

There were a couple of Team Ed sightings...stealthy in all black

Now I'm officially ready for spring.

I don't care what the temperature is...

It is still February; get back in the ground.
